Julien, following an inclusive apprenticeship program at In'pacte AB Fonderie, describes the job of an aluminum foundry shellmaker.

This new measuring instrument enables us to measure and control aluminum parts manufactured in the workshop.

The project to restructure and extend the Puvis de Chavannes university canteen in Villeurbanne is progressing, and the decorative pieces produced in the In'pacte AB Fonderie workshop can already be seen in the rough on the top of the building's facades.

For the creation of our aluminum parts, we can now count on a new furnace that consumes less energy and reduces noise pollution.

In'pacte AB Fonderie's workshop is now equipped with a tribofinishing machine for polishing and deburring parts.

Workpieces to be deburred or polished are fed into the machine's barrel, which contains an abrasive mixture. The rotation of the barrel abrades the workpieces, leaving them smooth and shiny.

This tribo-finishing machine guarantees a reliable, controllable and uniform finish.

A 1m90 shell cast part? Inpacte AB Fonderie has done it!

Our teams have designed around 140 pieces like this one for  the Blanchet Group

Measuring 1m90 high, 70cm wide and 6mm thick, these decorative slabs will be installed unfinished on the facade of a CROUS building.

On Thursday December 15, the Inpacte AB Fonderie production team visited the permanent exhibition "Qu'est-ce que tu fabriques? Lyon industrielle et ouvrière" at the Musée d'histoire de Lyon - Gadagne, in which it is highlighted.

All were able to immerse themselves in the history of Lyon's industry. An emotional moment was rounded off by the discovery of the work of photographer Valérie Couteron and writer Fabienne Swiatly, who spent several days immersed in the Inpacte AB Fonderie production workshop.

Many thanks to the whole museum team for making this moment possible, and especially to Claire Déglise and Xavier de la Selle for ensuring a visit rich in discoveries.

A wonderful showcase for a passionate profession.

Inpacte AB Fonderie continues to modernize its workshop equipment with the installation ofa sandblasting cabinet.

This ergonomic cab enables materials to be sandblasted and cleaned using a compressed air and abrasive propulsion system.

This new equipment represents a real improvement in working conditions, as it makes sandblasting easier and safer:

- No contact with dust and dirt
- Reinforced, integrated gloves for added safety
- High-precision sandblasting in a short space of time
